Capturing Everyday Life: Tigers Edition {pretty, happy, funny, real}

~ Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~

I know she is mine….

And I may be a little biased….

But, isn’t she pretty?

Amazing how a bucket of cookie cutters and play kitchen items along with some assorted colors of playdough can make the little ones happy.

If only we could all still be so amused with so little!

A Superhero has been flying around the neighborhood again.

Good to know we are protected from all those bad guys!

My husband and father weren’t able to make it to Death Valley to attend the LSU vs. Auburn football game as planned last weekend.  So, they decided to tailgate at home instead. With the television. Outside. By the pool. With little ones running around.

Oh, yes, they did.

(This Louisiana girl was secretly proud that my husband’s team got schooled. SSSShhhh! Don’t tell!)

  1. Yes-your daughter certainly is pretty! I almost always use my kids for the {pretty}! The poolside tailgate cracks me up!

  2. That looks like a dreamy place to watch a game… or the birds….or the clouds in the sky. What a terrific pool area!

  3. Looks like a great tailgating spot. Probably much better than at the actual game 🙂
Your superhero cracks me up – mine like to run in undies with capes but are usually contained to the apartment 😉

  4. I loved this…especially the superhero. We have had Obi-Wan Kenobi make appearances for the last 2 weeks, along with his light saber. (Happily visiting from Like Mother, Like Daughter.)

  5. That last picture is something else.

  6. We’re all biased when it comes to our kids. But yours sure is pretty anyway!

We’ve had appearances by a certain axe-wielding dwarf over here. I love the weeks leading up to Halloween! I wish we had an excuse to dress up in costumes more often!

  7. Oh, your little girl is so pretty, and such a cute pose!

  8. What a beautiful daughter 🙂 And your superhero and die-hard fans just gave me the best laugh I’ve had all day!
