We live in a neighborhood overflowing with young families, so there are lots of little ones running around once the last school bell rings. Come summer time, this gets to be a problem. Knocks upon the door at 8:00 A.M. seeking a playmate are not uncommon. (And, no, I am not exaggerating!!)
Because, you know, I am a mean mom, and because, well, learning happens all of the time, we school year round in our house. When knocks at the door begin interrupting our scheduled morning learning time, this little sign finds it’s way to the front door.
It helps to thwart those early knocks a little bit — minimizing interruptions most of the time.
Suffering from “knocking-to-early” syndrome too? Go on and snag one for yourself!
